Hayle is a port town and civil parish in west Cornwall, England. It is situated at the mouth of the Hayle River and is approximately seven miles northeast of Penzance. The town boasts a 3-mile stretch of golden sand at Hayle Beach, which spans from the Hayle Estuary to Gwithian Towans and Godrevy Point, famous for its lighthouse12.
