Las áreas principales que hemos visitado son;

Marbella

Andalusia is a region in Southern Spain. Bordered by Murcia to the North East; Castilla, La Mancha and Extramadura to the North.

Portugal provides the border to the West.

Andalusia covers the whole of the Southern Mediterranean coastline of Mainland Spain. It is a region that we visited and travelled in many times.

Of necessity my photo galleries for this region will be limited – I have many thousands of digital images from the region, far too many for anyone to even venture to look at.

The principal areas we have visited are;

Marbella

Marbella is the premiere resort of the Costa Del Sol, not the biggest but certainly in my opinion the best. Home to many of the mega-rich of Europe the City is steeped in history with the Old Town area with its Plaza De Naranjas – Orange Square – its shopping, restaurants and if you have a suitably large yacht Puerto Banús.
It has excellent weather, I have visited in November when 26°C is more normal but 30°C is not uncommon. These temperatures make me suspect that it might be a little bit warm in summer.

Sevilla

Think World Trade Exhibition Centre, Bullring, Cristopher Columbus, a truly amazing Cathedral and the Alcazar. The latter is Moorish Royal Palace from the days of occupation (think of El Cid) by the moors .
A very pleasurable boat trip along the Betis river is an excellent way to while away a little time.

Granada

Granada is in the North East of the Region close to Murcia. It is home to the Alhambra, a hugely important historic citadel that is so visited that pre-planning is essential. Admission is by time slots that are strictly adhered to. Coach operators take such a lions share of bookings that they are easily the most simple method of access to the site. No visitor to this region should miss the opportunity to visit here.
Whilst in Granada, more than just the location of the Alhambra, visit the city centre and enjoy the city not forgetting to partake in one of the Tapas Trails.
