Ruthin

Ruthin, Denbighshire

Rhuthun yw tref sirol Sir Ddinbych (sy’n cymryd drosodd o Ddinbych) ac mae’n dref farchnad fechan yn Nyffryn Clwyd. Adeiladwyd y Castell yn Rhuthun gan Frenin Edward 1 o Loegr ym 1277 gan ddefnyddio’r garreg goch leol, y mae’r cyfieithiad Cymraeg ar ei gyfer yn rhoi ei henw i’r dref. Ychydig o weddillion y castell heddiw.
